A variety of formats are planned that will encourage the exchange of new scientific and clinical information and support an interchange of opinions regarding care and management issues, as well as socioeconomic, ethical, and regulatory issues relevant to organ and tissue transplantation in children.

Scientific material will be presented through symposia, oral abstracts; small group sessions designed for in-depth exploration of both clinical and basic science topics, and poster presentations.

Who Should Attend

This meeting is designed for physicians, surgeons, and transplant professionals* who are interested in the clinical and research aspects for pediatric solid organ, tissue, and bone marrow/stem cell transplantation. A variety of formats are planned that will encourage the exchange of new scientific and clinical information and support an interchange of opinions regarding care and management issues, as well as socioeconomic, ethical, and regulatory issues relevant to organ and tissue transplantation in children.

* Transplant Professionals include any non-physician involved in transplantation such as nurses, coordinators, organ procurement personnel, psychosocial, lab techs, research assistants and pharmacists.
